November 6: Ft. Wayne, Indiana, NE Indiana KC. Creekside's Let Me Entertain You "Gypsy" won a 3 point major under Judge Katona.
November 5: Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Marion Kennel Club. Jakar Advice Well Taken "Demi" won a 3 point major, FINISHING HER CHAMPIONSHIP, at just a few weeks over 1 year of age. Thank you to Judge Toddie Clark!

October 24: Springfield, IL, Illinois Capital KC. Jakar Judgemental Advice "Ronin" won Winners Dog for a 3 point major under Judge Ray Filburn.
October 15: Urbana, OH, Mad River Kennel Club. Mario won Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy. In the Puppy Group ring, he got a Group 2!!!

 

SEPTEMBER

 

September 25: Columbus, Indiana. Demi won Winners Bitch for 1 pt. under Judge Dana Cline.

Olivera's She Dances On the Sand "Rio" won Best of Breed. Woohoo!

September 24: Columbus, Indiana. Jakar Advice Well Taken "Demi" won Winners Bitch for 1 pt. under Judge Terry Stacy. Creekside's The Show Must Go On "Mario" won Winners Dog for 1 pt. under Jacqueline Stacy.

September 18: NEW AMERICAN CHAMPION Habiba For Your Eyes Only, winning a major in Lebanon, Indiana's Greater Lafayette Kennel Club on Sunday. Thank you Judge Marjorie Underwood and, of course, Robert & Stuart for my lovely Anya.

September 4: Danville KC, Georgetown, IL. Mario won WD, BOW for 2 points; Ronin won WD for 1 pt. and Demi won WB and BOW for 1 point.

August 21: Anderson KC, Muncie, Indiana. Olivera's She Dances On the Sand "Rio" won a Major!! She has 11 points now. Fancy won Best of Breed. Demi was Reserve in the Afghan ring.

August 20: Muncie KC. Fancy won Best of Breed.

August 19: Anderson, KC, Muncie, Indiana. Rio won Winners Bitch and Fancy won Best of Breed. Demi was Reserve in the Afghan ring.

August 18: Muncie KC. Woohoo. Mario won Winners Dog and Best of Winners. Illuminated Creekside "Lumen" won Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex. And Demi won Winners Bitch in the Afghan ring.

August 1: Marion KC, Marion, Ohio. Rio won WB for 1 pt.

July 31: Marion, KC, Marion, Ohio. Demi & Mario each got reserve.

July 30: Dan Emmett KC, Marion, Ohio. Great day! Demi got WB, Mario got a major and Fancy got Best of Breed. Great job Nikki York and Cathy Bailey.

 

 

July 29: Dan Emmett KC, Marion, Ohio. Monty got that last point and finished his championship!! Thanks Nina!

June 5: Southern Indiana Kennel Club, Corydon, IN; Creekside's Let Me Entertain You "Gypsy" won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners & Best Opposite Sex; Monty won Winners Dog and Afghan Hound Demi won Winners Bitch & Best Opposite Sex (each getting 1 point).

June 4: Corydon, IN; Monty won Winners Dog and Best of Winners.

 

MAY

 

May 28: Grand Rapids Kennel Club, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Monty won Best of Breed over two specials and adding another 4 point major toward his Championship. Just needs 5 single points now. Creekside's Let Me Entertain You "Gypsy" was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex -- her first points at her first show!! A huge thank you to Judge Toddy Clark!

May 22: Kokomo Kennel Club, Greentown, Indiana. Monty won Winners Dog for 1 point. In the Afghan ring, Jakar Advice Well Taken "Demi" won Winners Bitch for one point.

May 21: Oklahoma City Toy Specialty. Creekside's Black Gold won the 6-9 Month Puppy Class and Illuminated Creekside took second place!

May 18: Chinese Crested Nationals, Oklahoma City. Creekside's Follow the Code "Dexter" wins 2nd in his class in the Puppy Sweepstakes.

 

 

 

May 17: Chinese Crested Nationals, Oklahoma City. PUPPY MATCH WINNER Illuminated Creekside!!!

May 6: Jefferson, Wisconsin, Badger Kennel Club: Creekside's Black Gold "Brie" won Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite Sex under Judge Charlotte Patterson for 2 points.

 
May 1: Jakar Advice Well Taken "Demi" won a 3 point major in Decatur, IL under Judge Kathy Forbes!!

April 16: Crown Point, Indiana - Steel City Kennel Club. Monty won a 3 pt. Major under Judge Jon Cole!! His first points.

 

 

April 2  DeWitt, Iowa. Creekside's Black Gold "Brie" won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed with owner/handler Janet Wodrich.

MARCH

March 12-13  Logansport Kennel Club, Auburn Indiana. Creekside's Black Gold "Brie" made her debut and won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners both days with Janet Wodrich handling.  Creekside's Fancipantz won Best of Breed with owner/handler Nikki York both days.

 

 

FEBRUARY

February 13:  GCH CH Creekside's Fancipantz won Best of Breed at the Indy Winter Classic in Indianapolis.  This may be Fancy's last show as we are getting ready to bring new puppies out to show. Congratulations Nikki York on a job well done with Fancy!
February 10 & 11: Fancy won Best of Opposite Sex at the Indy Winter Classic.
 

JANUARY

Traveled to Florida looking for nice weather only to find cold windy conditions at the Brooksville shows.  We did manage to show one day to Judge Lemcke and CH Absolutely N'Co won a Select. 
 

DECEMBER

December 1: Attended the Eukanuba Show in California.  Fancy won a Select the first day.

 

NOVEMBER

 

November 19: Jolie Glitterati "Paris", my beautiful afghan, is a new AMERICAN CHAMPION today at the Columbus, Ohio show, winning Winners Bitch for a 3 point major! Thank you Jason and Jennifer Taylor for breeding/showing her.  And thank you to Judge Shelley Hennessy.


 

November 7: Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  NEW AMERICAN GRAND CHAMPION Creekside's Fancipantz, Best of Breed today under Judge Barbara Dempsey Alderman. Congratulations to owner, handler NIKKI YORK. You have been a professional under some trying situations this year. Well done!!

 
November 6: Marion Kennel Club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Fancipantz won Best of Breed!! Romeo got a Select.  There were 23 entries and 5 specials! Thank you to Judge Gloria Kerr.
 
November 4: LaPorte County Kennel Club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  Fancipantz won Best of Opposite Sex.
 
November 3: Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  Fancipantz won Best of Opposite Sex.

OCTOBER

 

October 25: Illinois Capital Kennel Club in Springfield, Illinois. Romeo won Best of Opposite Sex.

October 23: Sandemac Kennel Club in Springfield, Illinois. Romeo won Best of Opposite Sex and Fancipantz got a Select for more grand champion points.

 

October 22: Mattoon Kennel Club in Springfield, Illinois. Romeo won Best of Opposite Sex.
 

October 17: Mad River Kennel Club, Urbana, Ohio.  Creekside's Fancipantz won another Best of Breed with Nikki York. Great job guys!! Congrats. And thank you to Judge St. John Brown.

 

October 16: Licking River Kennel Club, Urbana, Ohio, Romeo won Best of Breed and Fancy won Best of Opposite Sex.

 

October 15: Mad River Kennel Club, Urbana, Ohio, Romeo got Select.
 

SEPTEMBER

September 25 & 26: At the Kennel Club of Columbus, Indiana Fancy won Best of Breed both days and a Group 4 on Sunday. This gave her two majors toward her Grand Champion points. Thank you to Judge Norm Patterson Saturday and Judge June Penta on Sunday! This girl has such a great attitude despite the drop in temperature!!

 

September 19:

Fancy got a major toward her Grand Champion points today under Judge Marjorie Underwood at the Greater Lafayette Kennel Club.
 

September 18:
Greater Lafayette Kennel Club: What a day! I'm staying home with Anya who is deciding to take her time whelping this litter. Poor Paris got all dressed up with nowhere to go!! But Nikki York was a star in the ring today, juggling five cresteds! It ended up with Fancy getting a 5 point major and Best of Breed which finished her. And little Hottie got Reserve Winners Dog his first time out. Thank you to Judge Robert Sturm (who also gave Sly, both Fancy & Hottie's dad Winners Dog at the Indpls. Show two years ago). And a huge thanks to Nikki. Hope I'm there tomorrow to help!


AUGUST

August 22: Phoenix took Winners Dog in St. Clairsville today for 2 points!! Great job Natasha and Chelsea!!



August 21: Creekside's I Caught Fire "Phoenix" just turned 6 months and got Reserve in St. Clairsville, Ohio first time in the ring. Good job little guy! Congrats to Chelsea Hillman and Natasha Ghearing.

August 19: Muncie Kennel Club -- Jolie Glitterati "PARIS" wins another MAJOR!!

August 7:  Creekside's About Town -- new American GRAND CHAMPION!!

August 6: Great day at the Columbia County Kennel Club in Canfield, Ohio! Fancipantz won a 4 point major and Romeo took Best of Breed out of 28 dogs! Huge thank you to Judge Connie Clapp. Then in the Afghan Ring, beautiful Paris won a 3 point major under Judge Harry Smith. Thank you again Jason & Jennifer for showing her. She was beautiful.

 

 

 

August 5: Romeo got Best of Opposite Sex in Canfield, Ohio at the Ft. Steuben Kennel Club.

 

August 1: Jolie Glitterati "Paris" won a 3 point major in Marion, Ohio. Thank you to Judge Lemcke and Jason Taylor for handling her.

 

 

June:

 

June 24-27: Attended the Valparaiso, Indiana shows: Fancy won Winners Bitch Thursday and Saturday. It was only one point for each. Romeo won Select twice for two more Grand Champion points. Entries were down this year and we may need to consider traveling further away to get some majors for Fancy. We seem to be meeting up with the same dogs at every show. Maybe it's time for a regional change.

 

 

June 20, Echo Hills Kennel Club, Troy, Ohio: Creekside's Fancipantz won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under Judge A. Hussin!!

 

 

June 19: Echo Hills Kennel Club, Troy, Ohio: Fanci got Reserve and Romeo won Best of Opposite Sex.  He now has 11 pts. toward his Grand Championship.

June 5: Southern Indiana Kennel Club in Corydon, Indiana. Creekside's Fancipantz won Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for 1 point.

May:

May 31:  Creekside's Fancipantz had her debut at 6 months of age and won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED over 4 specials!! Then made the cut at the Group Ring. This little girl is going to be so fun to show. Thank you to Judge Keke Kahn for seeing this girl's great movement and potential.

May 22 & 23: Romeo got Best of Breed both days at the Greentown Shows in Kokomo, Indiana with Nikki York showing him. She also showed Fancy and got Best of Breed in the puppy match.

May 1-2: Eaton, Ohio. Romeo got Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday at the Ft. St. Clair Kennel Club. On Sunday, Romeo got Best of Breed under Judge Jon Cole and a Group 4 with Nikki York showing him!! 

April:

 

April 23 & 24: Terre Haute, Indiana. Paris won Winners Bitch both days. And Friday night, Fancipantz won Best of Breed, Group 1 in the puppy match. So much fun!
 

April 18: Paris won Winners Bitch at Steel City Kennel Club in Crown Point for one point under Judge Laurans.

 

April 17: Nikki York got Winners Bitch with Dharma "Creekside's Don't Stop Me Now" and reserve on Sunday at the Steel City Kennel Club in Crown Point, Indiana. Great job Nikki!! 

 
April 15: Creekside's Kameo Flit'n Flirt got her OFFA certificate for testing normal (or clear) for PLL.
 

April 11:  Jolie Glitterati "Paris" (my beautiful red brindle afghan hound) got her first point in Elkton, Florida under Judge Ray Filburn. She also got Best of Opposite Sex. We had a great time in Florida!!

 
April 10 AND 11: Romeo won Best of Breed at Saginaw Valley Kennel Club in Michigan BOTH DAYS.

April 2: Received OFA certificates that Anya, Sly & McDreamy tested normal (or clear) for the mutation known to cause Primary Lens Luxation. Still waiting on Flirt's results.

 

April 1: Attended the Afghan Hound Breeder's Cup in Strongsville, Ohio.  Very proud of my Paris "Jolie Glitterati" and her litter sister who made the final cut!!

March 27: Romeo got Best of Breed at the Western Pennsylvania show. Thank you to Judge William Cunningham.

March 21: Creekside's Don't Stop Me Now (Dharma) got reserve to a 4 pt. major at the Louisville, KY show!! Great job Nikki York and Dharma. So proud of you!

 

March 14: Romeo won Best of Breed at the Auburn, Indiana show. Thank you to Judge Alderman.

 

February:

 

February 28: Juicy and Sly have had three beautiful males!  One hairless, one hairy hairless and one powderpuff. Very healthy strong boys.

February 18: We have 3 new babies from Anya and Sly!!!  One pet female, one hairy hairless male and one powderpuff male.

 
January:

 

January 8:  Romeo got Best of Opposite Sex at the Ormond Beach Kennel Club in Daytona.
Romeo also got Best of Opposite Sex at one of the Brooksville shows. Showing was limited due to cold weather and strong wind conditions, all showing was outdoors.
January 30:  Romeo got Best of Breed at the Ocala show under Judge Robert Hall.
 
December:
December 11: Creekside's About Town (Romeo) got Best of Opposite Sex at the Medina Kennel Club in Cleveland, Ohio under Judge Shelly Hennessey.

 

NOVEMBER

November 15  Nedra and I were really happy to have won Winners-New Champion with Chinsia and Best of Breed with Romeo on the same day.

 

November 15 We had a great day at the Central Ohio Kennel Club in Columbus, Ohio under Judge Sandra Goose Allen.  CHINSIA got Winners Bitch (a 3 point major) and FINISHED her CHAMPIONSHIP!  Congratulations owner, handler-Nedra Holloway and Chinsia.  The same day, Rocky (who is owned and handled by Zalene Stinson and was bred out of her Domino and my Fabio) got Winners Dog and Best of Winners!  Then to top off the day, Romeo went Best of Breed with me handling!  Pretty exciting.

 

November 14  Saturday at Lima Kennel Club in Columbus, Ohio under Judge Jean Fournier, Romeo got Best of Breed with Nina handling.  When he went in the Toy Group, he actually made the cut.  Impressive accomplishment for nine months of age.

 

November 1   Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club in Ft. Wayne -- Jazzy won Best of Breed, Chinsia won Winners Bitch and Romeo won Best of Opposite Sex. 


 
October

October 31   Marion Kennel Club in Ft. Wayne -- Jazzy won Best of Breed, Chinsia won Winners Bitch & Best of Winners and Romeo won Best of Opposite Sex.

October 19    Romeo got a 3 pt. major, finishing his championship under Judge Jean Fournier.  I'm so thrilled.  This is the first dog I've shown completely by myself to get his championship title!! 

 

October 18

Just when we thought it couldn't get better this weekend, Romeo won BOB and another 5 pt. major under Judge Connie Clapp.

October 17

Jazzy won a 5 point major and finished her championship under Judge Suzanne Dillin.  Thank you Nina Fetter for handling Jazzy.

October 16, Mattoon Kennel Club, Creekside Party Girl Jazzy won a 4 POINT MAJOR!! In all the excitement we forgot to get the picture.  Thank you to Judge Pamela Peat AND Nina Fetter.
 

October 10, Saturday, Licking River Kennel Club in Urbana, Ohio:  Romeo got Winners Dog and Jazzy got Winner Bitch.  Romeo got Best of Winners, both getting 1 point under Judge Ennis.

 

October 11, Sunday, Mad River Kennel Club in Urbana, Ohio: Anya went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 points under Judge Mullen.  Thank you!!
As a side note, I had a blast at this show meeting friends again: Jennifer and Jason Taylor, breeders of Jolie Afghans.  Their puppy went Best Puppy, Group 1 and BEST IN SHOW PUPPY!  I loved watching and it was enlightening to watch Jason in the ring with the 3 afghans AND, later, Jason showed a crested for another handler.  It was something to see!!

September 19, Saturday at Columbus, Indiana: ROMEO did it again, winning Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed, receiving another point.  Thank you to Judge Sandra Goose Allen. 

September 18, Friday at Columbus, Indiana: Creekside's About Town "ROMEO" won Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed!  His first point.  Also, Creekside's Party Girl "JAZZY" won Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex.  Thank you to Judge Larry Abbott.

September 12:  Judge Charles Scott at Lebanon, Indiana:  CREEKSIDE'S CHINSIA got Winners Bitch for 2 points.  She only needs a major, but we will surely get it next time.  She is gorgeous!!!  Thank you to Judge Charles Scott.

June 21:  Berrien Kennel Club:  We had a very special day.  Creekside's Coco Chanel won Winners Bitch for a 3 point major finishing her Championship!  The same day, Habiba Shake it up"Sly" won Winners Dog and Best of Winners, crossing over to get a 3 point major and finishing his Championship!  TWO CHAMPIONS IN ONE DAY!!  A big thank you to Luke and Diane Ehricht.

 

June 19:  Valparaiso Kennel Club:  Sly got Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed for a 3 point major!

 

June 14:  SLY got Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under Judge Charles Scott at the Troy, Ohio shows.  Chinsia got Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex!!  Chinsia only needs a major to finish!!!

Creekside's Chinsia got Winners Bitch three days in a row in Marianna and Ft. Walton Beach, Florida!!  Great job Nedra.

Saturday, Feb 21 Coco won Best Bred By, Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 points at the Ochlockonee River Kennel Club of Florida.  Thank you to Judge Richard H. Mullen.

We had a very successful 3 days at the Hoosier Kennel Club and Central Indiana Kennel Club in Indianapolis. 

SLY won Best Puppy, Winners Dog and Best of Winners on February 12 and Best Puppy, Winners Dog and Best Opposite Sex on February 13. 

 

JET won Best of Breed on February 14.

 

CREEKSIDE'S COCO CHANEL won Reserve on both February 12 and 14 (her very first time in the ring) from the Bred By division!!!

Habiba For Your Eyes Only "Anya" received Best of Winners & Best of Opposite Sex on both Saturday, November 29 AND Sunday, November 30 in E. Lansing, Michigan.  Thank you to Judges Ms. Connie Clapp and Mrs. Denny Mounce! 

Creekside's Chinsia got Reserve at Crete, IL show on Saturday, November 12.

 

November 3 -- Jet won BEST OF BREED at the Northeastern Kennel Club.  Thank you to Judge Raymond Filburn.

November 2 -- Jet won BEST OF BREED at the Northeastern Kennel Club. Thank you Mr. Ralph Lemcke, Judge.  Jet originally won his first point with Judge Lemcke at his first show at 6 months!


October, 2008

October 30 -- CH Such A Rush N'Co ("Jet") won Best of Opposite Sex at the La Porte Kennel Club. 

 

Creekside's Chinsia owned by Nedra Holloway had a fantastic weekend at the Urbana, Ohio (Mad River and Licking Creek Kennel Club) shows.  Friday, Oct. 10 Chinsia won Best Puppy, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed or 1 point.  Saturday Chinsia won Winners Bitch for 2 points and Sunday, she won Best Puppy, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed for a 3 point major!!!  Well done Chinsia!  She has so much personality -- and she loves the showring!!


August, 2008

Creekside's Dancing Domino won Best of Breed at the Muncie/Anderson Kennel Clubs on August 14 & 15.  Good job, Domie!

Creekside Carmel Cluster finished her championship at the Memphis Kennel Club shows on August 17!!!  Thanks Luke, this is Creekside's first (bred) champion.

Creekside’s Carmel Cluster (shown by Luke Ehricht) got two three-point majors at the River Valley Cluster in Evansville, Indiana.  She is on her way!

CH Crestar’s Jelaine Fabio (shown by Luke Ehricht) has finished his championship with three major wins and a total of 19 points at the Valparaiso shows!!  Thank you to Judges Eugene Blake, June Penta and Paula Hartinger.

Habiba For Your Eyes Only “Anya” won Winners Bitch at the Kokomo Kennel Club in Indiana.  Thank you Judge Ruth Prehn for appreciating this special girl who came all the way from Scotland.  The same day, Fabio won Winners Dog and Best of Winners.

 Creekside’s Dancing Domino won Best of Breed at the Kokomo Kennel Club (shown by Zalene Stinson).
